MedData provides accurate and timely billing and collection services to its clients nationwide. The Company provides this service using IDX’s Groupcast System (GPMS), the leading provider of patient management, financial management and decision support services for medical practices and physician service organizations. The billing service involves submitting claims to insurers or invoices to patients for services provided in the emergency facility, based on information provided within the medical record and performing all aspects of the associated Account Receivable management. Additional tasks include: preparing and submitting claims to insurers for payment; submitting invoices to patients; posting payments received against claims or invoices; reviewing outstanding claims and invoices for follow-up; contacting insurance companies for non-paid, underpaid or denied claims; contacting patients for non-paid or underpaid invoices; submitting past due accounts to agencies for collections.
