Late in 2007 MedData announced a significant investment from Baird Capital Partners (BCP) providing MedData the capital and expertise to continue to lead the way with enhanced services for their clients. This investment also lead to two major acquisitions; Peak Emergency Medical Billing, specializing in emergency medical billing since 1982, and Summit Healthcare Services located in Brecksville, OH.  Both companies brought expertise in coding, billing and data management for the specialty of Emergency Medicine.
