The Texas College of Emergency Physicians (TCEP) is comprised of over
1,200 emergency physicians in the state of Texas working together for
the common goal of furthering the specialty of Emergency Medicine.
The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) was founded in 1968
by a small group of physicians who shared a commitment to improving the
quality of emergency care and to training physicians to provide quality
emergency care in the nation’s hospitals. Today, ACEP represents more
than 25,000 emergency physicians, emergency medicine residents and

Founded in 1971, the California Chapter of the American College of
Emergency Physicians (CAL/ACEP) is a non-profit association

than 2,500 members and approximately 80% of board-certified emergency
physicians in the state, CAL/ACEP is the largest state chapter of the
American College of Emergency Physicians.
The Georgia Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians
(GCEP) is an association of more than 500 Emergency Medicine
physicians. GCEP promotes the highest standards of patient care
throughout the state of Georgia through its advocacy and leadership
efforts.
The New York Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians
represents over 2,000 emergency physicians in New York State.

The Michigan College of Emergency Physicians (MCEP)
