MedData Extends Patient Payment Service with New App

Brecksville, Ohio (April 24, 2017) – MedData, Inc., a MEDNAX (NYSE: MD) company and a leading provider of technology-enabled healthcare products and services, today announced the launch of MyMedicalMe, a mobile app designed to help people manage their medical bills.

This version of MedData’s patient payment and engagement platform was designed with the unique needs of the mobile user in mind. Patients of MedData’s client hospitals and physician practices can download MyMedicalMe on the Apple App Store and on Google Play for free in the U.S.

The app brings a dynamic level of interactivity to the essential functions of payment management – ultimately streamlining patient balance reimbursements and giving patients greater insight into the medical billing process. Key features include:

  • Single source for all payments and balances
  • Easy access to high-level medical billing history
  • Detailed review of individual transactions
  • Convenient scheduling for payment plans and reminders

With the new app to complement the existing self-service portal, patients now have the flexibility to manage their payment needs when they’re online or on the go.
